Le moral dans les chaussettes à cause des horribles événements de la veille à Nice, on a essayé de quand-même profiter du temps ensoleillé qui est enfin arrivé et de la beauté du village de Rochefort en Terre, avec les amis croqueurs Cécile, Olivier et Philippe...

Although our minds were with the horrible events of the evening before in Nice, we tried to make something out of the day and enjoy the nice weather and the beauty of Rochefort en Terre with my fellow sketchers Cécile, Olivier and Philippe...

Au pied du moulin / Down at the mill

C'est un petit hameau au bord de la rivière près de chez moi...
This little village lies alongside the river close to my home...

Averses et soleil / In between showers and sun

Le temps n'arrête pas de changer en ce moment, un moment il fait beau et chaud et 10 minutes plus tard il pleut. Et donc on fait avec, le premier dessin a été fini dans la voiture en attendant que la pluie cesse..

The weather is changing all the time. I had to finish the first drawing in the car, because it was raining, and 10 minutes later, the weather was beautiful again...
