Pays-Bas, troisième partie / The Netherlands, third part

De retour à Woudrichem, nous récupérons notre voiture qui est garée au pied de ce beau moulin qui est une reconstruction du moulin détruit en 1945 par les Allemands....
Le lendemain, direction Amsterdam que les enfants ne connaissent pas encore. Histoire de leur donner un aperçu de la ville et du port, nous avons fait un tour en bateau mouche...

Back in Woudrichem, we pick up our car that was parked next to this beautiful mill that is a reconstruction of the original one, that was destroyed by the Germans in 1945...
The next day, we went to Amsterdam, city that the kids never had been to before. So in order to give them a global view of the city and the harbour, we made a little boat trip....

Pays-Bas deuxième partie / The Netherlands, second part

Aujourd'hui, nous faisons une sortie pour visiter deux petites villes fortifiées qui autrefois faisaient partie de la "Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie", une des lignes de défense les plus importantes de l'histoire des Pays-Bas. 
Nous sommes d'abord partis de Woudrichem, pour ensuite rejoindre Gorinchem en "bateaubus".

Today, we visited two fortress towns that were part of the New Dutch Waterline, one of the most important defense lines of the history of the Netherlands.
We first went to the city of Woudrichem, and then took the boat to Gorinchem.

Pays-Bas première partie / The Netherlands, first part

Malgré le fait qu'on y aille quasiment tous les ans, j'ai rarement pris le temps de faire un carnet de voyage aux Pays-Bas.
Bon, cette fois-ci notre programme était bien chargé aussi, entre les pots et repas avec les amis et la famille, le shopping (on refait notre garde robe généralement ici, et non en France) et les sorties prévues...
Mais ce n'est pas grave, le début est fait, je finirai à la maison...

Despite the fact that we go there almost every year, I rarely have taken the time to draw regularly in Holland.
This time also, between our meals and drinks with friends and family, our usual shopping trips (we renew our wardrobe in Holland most of the time) and the trips that we planned, the planning was quite full, but I managed to do some drawing, and never mind, I will finish at home...
