Isabel pour JKPP / Isabel for JKPP - Julia Kay's Portrait Party

Je me suis amusée comme un gamin cet après-midi : j'ai fabriqué des tampons en pomme de terre, fait des collages, des bidouillages, et un dessin !
Pour le fond, je me suis laissée inspirer par l'artiste Juliana Coles. Et ensuite ce portrait JKPP m'a fait de l'oeil. J'espère que ça plaira à Isabel....

I played like a kid this afternoon : I made some potato stamps, some collages, did some fiddling and a drawing in my sketchbook !
For the background, I was inspired by artist Juliana Coles, and then, this JKPP portrait just begged me to draw it. So I did. I hope Isabel will like it !!

La Gacilly et ma voisine / La Gacilly and my neighbour

Je vadrouille un peu à droite et à gauche pendant mes vacances. Il y a toujours de quoi dessiner dans la Rue Saint Vincent, surtout de puis que l'assos "Au fil des Arbres" a encore frappé... et Marguerite, une de mes voisines, qui avec son mari Marcel, est la mémoire de notre village...

I wander around in my surroundings a bit during my Christmas holidays. In the Rue Saint Vincent, there is always something to draw, especially now the trees there have put their winter clothes on.... And Marguerite, one of my neighbours, is the memory of our Hamlet, together with her husband Marcel.

Je viens de commencer un nouveau carnet avec le thème "10 kilomètres à la ronde", que je me lance comme défi pour 2019.
Pour les premières pages, j'ai dessiné ces amoureux de ma voiture, bien au chaud ....

Après-midi expo au bar / Sketchbook exhibition at the pub

On a passé un après-midi supersympa à la Marelle ce samedi 15 décembre, dans le cadre du Festival de contes "Promenons-nous dans les Voix". Il faisait très mauvais et il n'y a pas eu foule, mais les gens qui sont passés étaient sincèrement intéressés et l'ambiance dans le bar était cool....

We had a great afternoon in the pub last Saturday, where we had a small exhibition within the context of the Festival "Promenons-nous dans les Voix". The weather was lousy and there were not that many people, but those who dropped in were really interested and we had nice chats and the atmosphere in the bar was really cool....

Exercice de dessin à l'envers d'après une photo en noir et blanc (prise lors de mes vacances en Angleterre en 2016). C'est toujours efficace ! Papier assez galère pour l'aquarelle par contre...
